They weeble and they wobble but they don’t fall down. Alice can go straight, she can turn, she can jog! This kid is running us ragged! For your viewing pleasure, here is a lap around the new “table toy”. I had to bribe her with some car keys, totally worth it.
Alice apologizes for being a day late, but Daddy has the flu and hasn’t been able to get out of bed for a couple of days. Alice was doing OK holding the Happy Birthday sign and then she realize it was too much fun to wave it around and make crinkling sounds with the paper!
This last picture is just for cuteness sake. Alice loves her “bunny robe” after bath time and it is really freaking cute.
Went to see cousin Kate & Joe today. Getting pictures of Alice and Joe playing together proved very difficult, like herding cats if you will. Got a couple, decent, Kate is much easier to catch on film. Enjoy!
everybody is here except for Grandpa Bob. What’s it gonna take to get him to Omaha? Gotta go, Alice is chewing on some jumper cables!!!!!!
Counter to popular belief every now and then Alice is not so happy. The cute fuzzies occupy the majority of average days around here, however sometimes this happens.
Uncle Ben has been spending quite a bit of time at the house. At the start he scared the living crap out of the baby. Now-a-days they seem to be getting along quite nicely.
We didn’t have much on our plates today. A little nap some play time in the leaves. It must be 65 degrees today, really nice.
Alice could hear Deacon whining from inside and she just wasn’t having it, here she is starting for the door to let him out. I guess you can’t play in the yard without Deacon.
Respect for personal property is not a priority for Alice. Every time we went in to get her from her crib she was always standing in the same spot, with her mouth on the top rail. Little did we know that she was working on her escape! Just like baking a file into a cake, Alice’s two little teeth have been the tool of choice in her plans to go on the lamb! Sarah and I just noticed it last night.
Here she is caught in the act! Little monster.
These are just for good measure, as usual. The video at the end is great, Alice is walking! It is hard to catch on film, she only takes a couple steps in this one, but there will be more to come.
Alice is officially airborne! She can climb onto just about anything, foot rest, couch, chairs. As entertaining as this is it also means she can fall off of the foot rest, couch, and chairs. The world is now at her fingertips and I am exhausted!
Notice the bike helmet sitting on the floor next to the little chair she is in? That was next on her list. Safety first, that’s what I always say!
I really don’t know how she even knew to put that on her head? She is still taking it on and off as I type this post.
I think we have a reader on our hands. Alice has toys all over the living room, but she prefers to play with/turn pages of her books. I am sure she will want Barbie dream houses and the car keys soon enough.
